A couple of days ago, I decided to buy yet another piano library, you can't have enough of them! This is my 11th edition to my library
Anyway, I was browsing around, and at this moment, it is impossible for me to get a sound that I like: A balanced quite close sound.
I am using the 3RR patch, and the FULL.
All I get is:
Extremely soft
- I tried to make it louder by adjusting the mic position sliders, no luck, adjusting the low, mid and high range -> immediate popping, putting up the dry button -> immediate popping :(
Bizarre response to my touch
- I tried to adjust the velocity curve, but this is really low, so it is quite difficult to get the concave shape I like most. (Which works with other piano libraries) The standard linear shape give extremely weird responses.
No close mics
- When I turn off the reverb, and have only close or player on (or both) I should get a very dry sound, but it still seems like a sound coming from a piano miles away.
Please give me any input, I think I might oversee some major things here.
